Collection: Liga Undercrown

Liga Undercrown was introduced by Drew Estate in 2011 as a new addition to their portfolio of premium cigars. The brand's story is rooted in the success of Drew Estate's Liga Privada No. 9 and T52 cigars, which gained widespread popularity among cigar enthusiasts and received critical acclaim.

Due to the high demand for Liga Privada No. 9 and T52, some of the tobaccos used in their blends became limited in availability. In response, the skilled torcedores at Drew Estate's factory devised a solution. Instead of using the scarce tobaccos, they decided to create a new blend using similar tobaccos to replicate the profile of Liga Privada No. 9 and T52. This new blend became known as Liga Undercrown.

Liga Undercrown features a carefully selected blend of tobaccos from various regions, including Nicaraguan and Brazilian fillers, a Connecticut Habano binder, and a dark, oily San Andrés Mexican wrapper. The combination of these tobaccos results in a medium to full-bodied cigar with rich flavors, including notes of coffee, cocoa, earthiness, and a hint of sweetness.

The name "Undercrown" refers to the torcedores' position, as they are considered "under the crown" or "under the master rollers." This name honors their contribution to the development of the blend and showcases their talent and expertise in cigar rolling.

Since its introduction, Liga Undercrown has become highly regarded in the cigar community and has gained a loyal following of enthusiasts who appreciate its excellent construction, complex flavors, and accessibility.

Over the years, Liga Undercrown has expanded to include different line extensions, limited editions, and regional releases, each offering unique twists on the original blend.
